About ROOTS

After buying my first camera, I decided to create a Skate Short Film. So, I approached Derek Scott (a Local professional skateboarder) with a vision. He liked it, so we started to get the ball rolling. My goal was to showcase Derek's talent and paint a picture of his roots and the unique community in his small town, Salida, Colorado. 

After filming for a week straight and extensive editing, I finally exported the final draft. So, I hope you all see a glimpse into Derek Scott's stomping grounds and enjoy watching the talent of this pro skater.
